Our Aricdell line began with the pairing of Lara our first Flat Coat bitch to the marvellous Multi Champion Almanza Roundabout. Our affix 'Aricdell' was granted in 2003, the two words 'Aric' (pronounced AAH RIK) meaning 'eternal ruler' and 'Dell' meaning 'of the valley', fit together well giving us Aricdell. From there we began our own line of Flat Coated Retrievers. Choosing healthy, gentle natured admirable stud dogs to match and further the superb natured quality bitches we have.
All our dogs are hip scored and eye tested. We are not commercial breeders, it is a serious, lifelong passion and with any litter we always have the view to keeping a puppy from the litter to progress our line.
Our "oldies" stay with us, we don't move them on to make space for younger dogs.
Developing and progressing our Aricdell line into 6 generations is an achievement we are proud of.
From our foundation girl Lara to Aria to Carmen to Adelaide to Octavia to her litter born in 2021.
And the second branch from foundation bitch Lara to her son Aricdell Apollo to Delia to Astrid to Danika.
All our Aricdell bitches descend directly from Lara.
